A  small  shrine  standing  beside  Misodetenmangu  is  Shiradayusha  shrine.

御袖天満宮のそばの小さな社は、白太夫社です。

Watarai  Haruhiko  is  enshrined  in  this  shrine.

渡会春彦がこの神社にはお祀りされています。

We  believe  in  him  as  the  god  of  “raising  child” ,  “easy  delivery”,  “education”,  and  “blessed  with  a  child”.

渡会春彦扇は「子育て」「安産」「教育」「子宝に恵まれる」神として崇敬されています。

He  got  snow  white  hair  at  a  young  age,  so  he  was  called  Shiradayu.

彼は若くして白髪頭になったので、白太夫と呼ばれていました。

It  means  “an  old  man  with  white  hair”.

白太夫とは、「白髪頭のおじいさん」という意味です。

He  was  Michizane’s  home teacher  in  his  lifetime.

彼は生前、道真公の教育係でした。
